Many people, especially, the Indians, get confused when they hear that Adolf Hitler proclaimed himself to be an Aryan and rallied his people saying that being Aryans, they are superior to all and everybody on this planet earth.
This is because most of the Indians, who understand the word 'Aryan', have got the idea about the word mainly from their 'Epics', 'Ramayan' and 'Mahabharat', in which Lord 'Ram' and other princess were addressed as 'Aryaputra' meaning 'Son of Aryans' or 'descendants of Aryans'. Others who have the about the word owe it to the knowledge of the Vadic-culture and a very few to the history.
So, many people wonder that if we are Aryans then they (Germans) can be Aryans or how both of us can Aryans?
The answer as provided by the history of the mankind is very simple. In the begining of the human-civilization, there lived a higly civilized and cultured group of people on the both sides of the mountain Caucasus. These were the people whom history called the 'Aryans'.The Aryans were and are the most civilized race of the world. The Mount. Caucasus was the original home of the Aryans. The Aryans who lived on the nothern side of the mountain were called the 'Nordic' Aryans and the Aryans who lived on the southern side of the mountain were called 'Caucasian' Aryans. The Aryans possessed attractive and charming personality. They were tall and fair skinned. But the striking difference was in the colour of their eyes and hairs. Whereas the 'Nordics' had a clear-blue eyes and were blond, the 'Caucasians' had sparkling light-brown eyes and had dark hairs.
The Aryans were highly cultured and had a very developed civilization. These people were great warriors. So, they were able to preserve themselves from the barbarian attacks and hence flourished. Therefore, about 5000 years ago these people started to move away from their original home, due to over population of the place, in search of a new and more fevourable place.
The 'Nordic' Aryans started to move towards a more cooler place and hence they took a north-westerly course, crossing Ukraine & Poland, be settled in the Rhine basin of the nothern Germany. Whereas the 'Caucasian' Aryans took a south-easterly course and they proceeded forward crossing Iran to be settled in the mountains of Hindukush and the western Himalayas. In the due course they spread southwardly to settle in the fertile plains of Ganga and Yamuna.
The only adverse effect the new geographical climate had on the 'Caucasian' Aryans was that now they had a brownish tinge in their skin colour.So the fair-skinned 'Caucasian' Aryans had now become the 'Brown' Aryans. But the quality of their blood remained unaltered. They were still the best cultured, highly civilized and great warriors as their Nordic counterparts.
And this is the relation between the two groups of highl cultured people of the same bunch (origin).
The story that the Aryans destroyed the Indus Valley civilization is
totally a myth, since the Aryans never went in the direction of the Indus-Valley and had no contacts with the Dravidians. Moreover, the Aryans themselves were highly cultured and had a very developed civilization. Therefore they had no reasons to attack and destroy one already existing civilization. The destruction of the Indus-Valley civilization can be attributed to the inability of the Dravidians to protect themselves from the constant Mongoloid-Barbarian attacks. Hence the Aryans were in no way responsible for the destruction of the Indus-Valley civilization.
The Indo-Aryans (Caucasians) had a very developed civilization and were highly cultured people. They practiced agriculture and cultivation was their main occupation. They had patriarchal family and the descipline in the family was very high. The elders had a great respect in the family.
They used to worship gods and goddesses representing the different
manifestations of the nature.
At very early stage they knew the metals like copper and gold and
industries like tanning and weaving.
Altogather the Aryans had a very high living standard.
